My name is Jackson Devine, and I am a junior at Novato High School. After seeing Memory Care Connections online, I immediately thought about the impact that it could have in my own community. After I delivered students' letters to a local memory care facility for the first time, it was clear the joy they brought to residents. I was also surprised by how enthusiastic the students were about writing back to their pen pals. Memory Care Connections has shown me the importance of intergenerational bonds, especially with members of our community who are the most vulnerable.
